Operation Friendship

Operation Friendship Bavaria is a working group in ’’Kreisjugendring Neustadt/WN and member of Operation Friendship International.

Operation Friendship (OF) is an international organization with the aim to bring young people from different countries together. In addition OF wants to support the international friendship and the understanding between teenagers and adults, and foreign countries as well as the own country. Giving them the opportunity in order to get to know new cultures and forming friendships all over the world is also an important point for Operation Friendship.

A lot of teenagers from the county of Neustadt/WN and from Weiden make a use of our offer for many years. There they made international contacts with different countries. In doing so they gained a lot of experience, had much fun and met new people.

This youth meetings take place in a rhythm of two years. In the first year the participants are hosts in the county and in the following year they are travelers to the accordant partner country. So normally you have to host a guest from the accordant country the year before, before you can travel, especially by the USA exchange.
